Substitution, Bulb Size, and Refund Policy

Faraway Flowers makes every attempt to deliver lilies true to name and description.  Sizes of bulbs are based on as they are ordered from our suppliers. Some years, bulbs do not perform to the anticipated standards and may be smaller than we predict and order. Sometimes they are larger.

When a product becomes unavailable to us, we attempt to contact our customer and ask if they wish a replacement or a refund.  Occasionally the notification of non-availability comes at such a late date, that there is not sufficient time to contact customers. Going forward (after March 17, 2010), substitutions will be limited to a product of similar quality and greater value.  If a lesser value is substituted, a refund is issued for the difference in price.  Customers may request “NO Substitutions” by placing the words in the comment box at checkout or marking the order blank as such.  In these cases, a refund is shipped with the bulbs.

If lilies are non-performing, Faraway Flowers will attempt to replace with the same product. If not available, the customer may select a different product of similar value.
